Support for Multiple Formats - The BeBook eBook reader supports multiple formats, meaning you'll have more eBooks available to you. Formats supported include: pdf, mobi, prc, ePub, lit, txt, fb2, doc, html, rtf, djvu, wol, ppt, mbp, chm, bmp, jpg, png, gif, tif, rar, zip, and mp3.

Support for RSS and MP3 - In addition to the many file formats listed above, the BeBook eBook Reader supports RSS feeds and MP3s, which we think is a great addition. The MP3 support will allow you to play music files as well as audio books, but only through headphones since it doesn't have speakers.

The RSS support allows you to download your favorite RSS feed and read them on your BeBook - the only problem is you can't click through to the actual Web page since BeBook doesn't have wireless.

20,000 Free eBooks - It seems that BeBook is following in the tradition of other eBook readers such as the Sony Reader and the Iliad by giving away free books. As an owner of a BeBook, you can download over 20,000 titles from their Free eBook Catalog

The design of the BeBook eReader is clean and easy to hold and navigate. At 7.7 oz, the BeBook is one of the lightest eReaders currently on the market - its weight and design make it easy to hold and read for hours.

Much like the Kindle 2 and the Sony Reader, the BeBook has a 6 inch eInk display. The display is easy as reading a regular book, including in direct sunlight. Note, however, that both the Kindle and Sony Reader displays have 16 grayscales while the BeBook only displays 4. There's also is no backlight included, so if you're planning on reading in the dark, you'll need a book light.
